The motor from my Beetle is in the trunk of my Jetta. I can’t get the gland nut off. It was torqued to 250+ foot-pounds when it was rebuilt and has certainly increased its torque over the 70,000-plus miles of wear. I just can’t get it off. I even bent my 25″ breaker bar trying. […]
