Well, it’s almost time to start writing 2002 on checks and bail sheets. I for one could care less about 2001. I was all set for things to get real science-fictioney and Jetson-like, but instead some assholes decided to kill a bunch of people in the name of their God. (What else is new, hmm?) I’d have to say that, globally speaking, 2001 was a complete dud. I think I’ll stick with the book. The book was much better than the reality.
