Okay, so I missed out on signing up for NaNoWriMo this year, but I think I’ll still try to participate anyway. It sounds like great fun. I have no idea what I’ll write about, which seems to be the point, really–just get up and go. So let’s see, at 12pt Times New Roman with 1-inch margins, I can get roughly 343 words per page. To get 50,000 words in 30 days, therefore, I need to do 5 pages a day. That’s 150 pages. That’ll put me at 51,450, which would complete the requirements. Cool. I can do this. I’ll just have to remember what they say: “It’s about quantity, not quality.” Yeah. I can definately do this.
