Oy. Pink eye and skinned knee. Ari’s sinus infection. Bruised tooth with ear ache; dog still is not house-trained. Peddlers at sundown and boss is insane, these are a few of my favorite things.

On top of all the little “normal” life excitements, I was building a table for my son’s new Rokenbok last night, trying to pound a dowel into a glued hole when the dowel got stuck. Didn’t even connect with the adjoining piece. Elmer’s wood glue sets fast in those situations. I ended up having to re-drill the hole. Ugh.

Now please excuse me while I go try to keep our brand-new reference librarian from quitting. It appears I’m not the only one who wishes the head librarian would retire soon. Like, today.
