Egon told me not to cross the streams, but I crossed the streams. Major collective unconscious disturbance here, folks.

First, last night, just AFTER I had written my blather about guilty pleasures (which I won’t bother to reiterate here, and you’re welcome), Ari came out and said, “I hope your not writing about Dio.”

That wasn’t so freaky, because I had been playing it earlier on the guitar. But THEN, right after I had published the message, she brought up guilty pleasures … and THAT freaked me out. I even asked her if she had read my post before I published it, and she swore she hadn’t.

Anyway, I just thought it was kinda weird.

Then, today, I was reading the webmistresses blog and noticed her mention of halcyon. I was JUST THERE LAST NIGHT, reading about the Fruit of the Loom problem.

And as if that wasn’t enough to make me kinda paranoid, I went to waferbaby tonight to see if he had posted my response to this week’s brainstorm question, “How do you spend your time online,” to which I responded that I spend all my time at waferbaby. Indeed, my response was there, as well as an earlier reponse from webmistress jo who said that she spends most of her time at waferbaby.

Is there a microphone in my head or what?

Must be the moon — it was a perfect fingernail on the western horizon tonight. Or maybe it’s the extreme temperatures in the capitol of Texas this year … whatever it is, something is playing footsie with my brain and I don’t think I like it.
